Open Joint Stock Insurance Company Ingosstrakh operates in the global and national insurance markets since 1947. Currently, OJSIC Ingosstrakh is licensed to perform operations for 91 classes of insurance (in all 20 classes with regard of insurers’ specializations, in accordance with Article 32.9 of the Law on “Organization of Insurance Business in Russian Federation”), and reinsurance operations.

OJSIC Ingosstrakh has representations in 182 Russian cities, and more than 15 offices in neighboring and other foreign countries.

OJSIC Ingosstrakh paid-in capital is Rub 2.5 bln. Equity capital totaled Rub 6.2 bln and assets Rub 30.9 bln as of October 1, 2005.

The aggregate amount of direct insurance and reinsurance premium collected by OJSIC Ingosstrakh, IC Ingosstrakh-M Ltd, and IC Ingosstrakh LMT Ltd for nine months of 2005 totaled Rub 22.1 bln, 29% more than in the same period a year earlier, according to preliminary information. Direct insurance payments by OJSIC Ingosstrakh, IC Ingosstrakh-M Ltd, and IC Ingosstrakh LMT Ltd in the first three quarters of 2005 amounted to Rub 8.4 bln.

OJSIC Ingosstrakh has been rated by Standard & Poor's (ВВ+/Stable, or ruAA on the Russian scale), Moody's Investors Service (Ba2/Positive), Moody's Interfax Rating Agency (Aa2.ru and RUS-1 on the national scale), and Expert RA (A++).

Alexander Grigoriev, Director General of OJSIC Ingosstrakh was awarded “Person of the Year 2005” in category “Insurance” as rated by Rambler, the biggest Internet holding in Russia.
